Salt, Oil, and Rosemary

Mix the farinata with the water and oil and salt. Fry the rosemary and sage. Serve hot. With oil and salt.


Brush the skin. Scrub (        ) with the oil and salt. Wash  (        ) with sabão aleppo from the market. Pour the tisane of rosemary and lavender over  (        ). Rinse the skin.

Remember when          did we use to call it our roast chicken bath? When we would scrub ourselves down with salt and rosemary and oil in the bath radio loud windows open and we’d roast a chicken rubbed down with salt and rosemary and oil, and maybe some garlic. Then we’d eat ourselves and laugh, red wine and chilled water in colored glass from the corner store.
